Tuesday - Well, we had to detour from my Science plan so that we could chat with Neuf about his next adventure and enjoy the moments of what may be his last time in our classroom. #onelove #bcgreens #voteneuf :)- you all managed to figure out how to calculate subatomic particles within atoms and ions by completing your workbook p. 34. You will be seeing this all again tomorrow but I was impressed by you all today.
Wednesday - BANG! Notes: Bohr Models (continue from last week's notes found here), Activity: Mystery Elements using Bohr Models. Quiz on Friday (review package handed out in class yesterday ... key found in above review tab)
Homework: In your notes package, draw the Bohr models for atoms with atomic numbers 1-20 and answer the 6 questions related to this (in your notes package)Thursday: Check-in on Bohr Models, Notes: Ion formation & practise, review for quiz. Quiz tomorrow (answer key for review sheet handed out in class is found under above review tab)
Friday: Quiz on what we have done in Chemistry thus far.
Quiz: (7 multiple choice, 6 matching, 8 short response which are similar to the review that was handed out in class)
