Week of May 29th (Field trip WEEK)

Monday - Discuss field trip, Workbook p 112 & 113, Notes (continued): Batteries and electric potential energy, Notes: Circuitry (started)

Homework (due tomorrow): fruit batter lab questions & battery worksheet (both in Notes booklet)

Tuesday - discuss field trip (see packing list below), SPLIT (A-L Science lab, M-Z SS), Science is circuitry notes (continued & lab)

Wednesday - SPLIT (M-Z Science lab, A-L SS), Science is circuitry notes (continued & lab)

Packing list:

group tent, packed lunch for 2 days (fridge available), water bottle, sleeping bag, sleeping mat, pillow, flashlight, rain gear (coat, hiking boots/runners), layers of clothes (we will be outside all day, both days... rain or shine), change of clothes, medications (in a baggie to be held by Ms. Paas), money for dinner at Galiano ferry terminal on the way home, care card

Thursday & Friday - field trip.  If you are not coming along on our adventure then you are to head to the Career Centre, check in with Mrs. Rhodes and work QUIETLY and on your own for the entire class.

Week of May 23rd

Tuesday - Notes: Batteries & Energy, Lab: Fruit battery

Homework: answer analyze & conclude and apply questions from lab (Sci text p 276)

Wednesday - Welcome back Neuf!!!

Thursday - Ok, Neuf ... now get lost ... ahahahahaha ... kidding!

Week of May 15th

PLEASE NOTE - your projects are NOT due this week!  All of you will be presenting your final projects in the last three day of school and therefore, your projects are due on June 19th!!!
